Name: Tsuzuki Asato
Age: 107
Gender: Male

Appearance: Tsuzuki has floppy dark brown hair and striking purple eyes. He generally wears the same attire of a black suit and trench coat, and his tie is always slightly array. He can either be found with a very large smile on his face, or looking distant and sad- he is a man of extremes. He has a slight but muscular frame and is average height. He is very attractive, and wherever he is he seems to attract admirers.

Personality: Tsuzuki seems to almost have two personalities. He does his best to hide his pain, and over compensates for it, big time. On the surface he appears happy go lucky, with a constant smile and a distinct lack organisation to any aspect of his life. He is also extremely over indulgent in regards to food-cakes in particular. However, then there is the other side to Tsuzuki that not many get to see. This side is focused, serious and not to be messed with. He is also prone to extreme bouts of depression, and always blames himself for everything

A little backstory

Tsuzuki has a LOT of history, not that he is ever very willing to divulge it.

He was born in 1900 and lived with his mother and sister. He was bullied by the other children because he was different from them. All Tsuzuki wanted was to be human, but his eye colour suggested otherwise. At just 18 Tsuzuki made his first attempt at suicide. He was taken into hospital where he stayed for 8 years. In all that time he refused to eat, drink or sleep-yet somehow he survived. During those 8 years he flitted in and out of sanity, slipping in and out of consciousness. He made numerous attempts on his life, finally managing to end it in 1926.

After his death Tsuzuki became a Shinigami. He had trouble keeping a partner, a prime reason being he was far too emotionally unstable and couldn’t deal with taking the lives of others. Finally after 70 years working as a Shinigami he was partnered with Kurosaki Hisoka, and he seems to have found a partner he will keep. He has a close relationship with Hisoka; they have been through a lot together and come out of it stronger.

Tsuzuki is still very troubled about something from his past. It is clear he feels responsible for the deaths of many people whilst he was still alive, although it is unclear what role he played in these deaths. He reached breaking point when he was pushed too far by Muraki Kazutaka regarding his demon ancestry, and he tried to kill himself once more, only to be saved by Hisoka.

Despite being a very fragile man emotionally, Tsuzuki wields a lot of power. He is one of the most powerful Shinigami, with incredible healing abilities. He seemed to have some form of powers before his death, which have clearly been greatly enhanced by becoming a Shinigami. He can summon 12 Shikigami-the most any Shinigami in Meifu can summon. Shikigami are hard to control, and require a lot of power-so this fact shows us that despite the useless, slapstick image of himself he creates, he is clearly far more powerful than that.
